Commissions
If you have a subject that is near and dear, please contact me to explore bringing your image to life as a unique fabric collage. The slideshow on this page shows some of my past commissions.
Why a commission?
A collage you like on this website is marked as sold.
There is a collage on this website that you like, but would be interested in having it personalized by introducing or subtracting certain elements.
You would like an image you don’t see represented here, such as a particular plant, animal, or scene. This includes family pets.
You would like a piece that is larger or smaller than what is represented on this website.
What will I need to know?
Subject of choice, which can include a reference photo, if you have one.
Approximate size desired (width and height).
Any colors to emphasize or de-emphasize.
Framing
Style - unframed, shadow box or regular picture depth (i.e., flat framed).
Color - white, gray, honey/walnut, or black.
How do we start?
Simply fill out the contact form on this website, providing a brief description of what you’re looking for. You should hear from me within a few days; if not, I ask that you consider reaching out again in case technology has experienced a glitch. We can confirm details of your commission via email or phone. I ask for 50% of the agreed purchase price as a deposit before I begin your collage or develop a concept sketch. The balance of the purchase price plus any shipping is due when your piece is ready to send to you.
How much will your commission cost?
I price commissions using the same formula as my ‘ready to sell’ collages. Pricing considers size, design effort, materials, framing, and time spent creating. A commissioned piece requiring additional design time, multiple design reviews, or with many elements will have a higher price than a relatively simple collage, such as a flower or single animal. We’ll agree on a final price before committing to a commission.
